I love assisting my students express their personality and interests in the class. My students leave confident!

I began my teaching career as a High School Science Teacher.

I am a graduate of Spelman College with a Degree in Spanish Language and Literature. My Concentration was in Latin American History, Film and Literature. Furthermore, I studied Tropical Ecology with SIT which took me to Central America and brought together both my Spanish Speaking Skills and Science research interests.

I have traveled to Spain and Central American countries like Panama and Costa Rica!

About the lesson

t the beginning of each lesson we will begin with objectives and vocabulary words. We will have an essential question related to the cultural aspect of the day. Then we will have a review game or board game to exercise your conversational skills. (Uno, Monopoly) Finally, there is an oral part quiz and written quiz at the end of each lesson. Each session is 1 hour. I evaluate using the ACTFL speaking system.

High School, Middle School, Adult Learners

Try one class at a time and see if your personality works well with your tutor. Always speak your mind because teachers have your success in mind. Have Fun!
