About Richy

My teaching approach:

I allow a 2-hour block of time at a first lesson. You are not charged for 2 hours. It allow me to get to know you- who you listen to, favorite players, experience, short term goals (what do you want to do on the guitar in a year that you can\'t do now), long term goals (where do you see guitar and music in you life 5 to 10 years from now). I then adapt my curriculum program to your goals.

My guitar lessons take place in:

The teacher's studio.

Guitar lessons typically take place on these days and hours:

Noon to 7:00pm Monday -Wednesday Noon to 5:00pm Thursday & Friday Some weekends by appointment.

Guitar Techniques:

Lead guitar, Rhythm guitar, Open tuning, Fingerstyle, Performance, Improvisation, Jamming Skills, Reading Music, Music Theory, Scales and Exercises, Song Writing, Recording and Production, Guidance In Equipment Selection.

Your first guitar lesson with me might include the following:
