About Andrea

I teach voice and performance as well as public speaking and presentation skills in the comfort of my home studio. I teach rock, pop, jazz, choral, barbershop, stage, and blues voice. I cover the spectrum of true vocalizations! You notice that I did not include country, right? You will never have to learn with music you hate because you pick your own music. I teach you about that beautiful and versatile instrument known as the voice. You know, the one you can't really see. But after working with me, you will have a very clear picture of exactly what it looks like, how it works, and how you can do magnificent things with it! Did you know that there are 5 resonators and/or manipulators to your voice? Did you know that once you've learned to master all 5, then you will be able to sing just about any piece of music that's put in front of you? Did you know that some of the most famous singers in the world, don't have this information? It's all true, I promise! My program is unorthodox and fun! You will laugh more than you've ever, and you will learn more about yourself and what you can accomplish than you've ever dared to dream. I've helped people with stutters learn to speak with more confidence, people with thick foreign accents to sing with a continental dialect, and people with severe confidence issues to find their inner diva! I offer reasonable rates and lots of fun, give me a try!

I've been a musician for most of my life. Teaching is so much fun! So why not combine the two! Why can I teach music? Because my first paid gig was at the ripe old age of 9 and I've been performing music for over 40 years, from choirs to theater to bands. I teach all vocal styles as well stamina and strength training from the ground up! Teaching you to understand your instrument through concepts you already understand and infusing each lesson with fun (and a bit a silliness at no extra cost!), make my lessons something to look forward to, each and every week! In addition to teaching voice, I also teach Performance, which encompasses all aspects of stage work, fan interaction, creating a stage or song persona, overcoming stage fright, and becoming a natural storyteller, and much more! Lessons take place in the comfort of my home or at a centrally-located studio. About the lesson

I give them an evaluation lesson in which they only pay $25. I conduct a two-way evaluation that allows both parties to decide if the professional relationship will work. Once that's been decided favorably, I send a student packet to them and set up our next rehearsal time/day, and off we go!
