About Casey Martin

I am a young professional actor, singer, and musician with a great passion for teaching. I find that often times teachers don't spend enough time discovering their students goals and that is just what's i would do. My lessons are based in considering your goals and doing what we can to achieve them. I want to see you achieve your goals to have the experiences and success and satisfaction you want to have!

I love to see my students have success and I enjoy knowing that it was in part to my careful consideration and individual attention to their needs. Not everybody wants to be a star, and that's okay. Some people want to be a star, and that's okay. Some people just want a hobby to impress their friends, and that's okay. Any of these wants are valid and I love to help people get where they want to go without judgement or pressure.

I TA'd a few classes in college and found that I had a good eye for technique and a lot of opinions worth sharing. I think good teachers have an opinion truly worth sharing that is constructive and productive.

I have my Bachelors Degree in Musical theatre with a minor in music from James Madison University. I also have spent years playing music professionally in orchestras, bands, and choirs, as well as performing on stage in many shows. I have acting training in many techniques and styles including, Meisner , classical, contemporary, and Stanislavsky.

About the lesson

I like to start with a new student by having conversations about their goals so we can best utilize our time together. If a student wants to have a good audition then we are going to spend time on that, if a student wants to brush up their technique, we will do that! Always being flexible with the plans for our lessons is important to me.

Music Theory Lessons and Tutoring - $20 for 30 Minutes and $40 for 1 Hour
