About Amber
I am a Preschool Teacher and am currently earning my BS in Elementary Education (K-6). I'm also a parent, so I understand the needs and concerns one would have for their child learning in the current climate of 2020.
I got started teaching when I was in high school. I tutored a few of my cousins who were in elementary school as well as help with school prep.
My passion for children and education have pushed me to become a preschool teacher and pursue my degree in Elementary Education.
I am a Preschool Teacher and college student earning my BS in Elementary Education (Kindergarten through 6th grade). I also did some unofficial tutoring during my high school years.

First, I like to get to know a little about the student. For instance, grade level, subject, and specifically what areas they are struggling with.
Second, I set up some short term and long term goal for the student and me to be working towards together.
Third, we will set up time and days of tutoring as well as making a plan of what we will go over on those particular days.
Lastly, together we will regularly assess progress made so that we know where we are and changes can be made if need.
I have worked with primarily elementary-aged children. I have taught children with behavioral issues as well as developmental delays.
