About Susan

I’m an elementary school teacher with a passion for engaging students through creative approaches. I have experience teaching both in-person and remotely, and I look forward to helping you build and strengthen your skills!

I had experience working with children in undergraduate studies and enjoyed it. I had applied to graduate school for Childhood Education to become a teacher at Fordham University and have been a teacher for the past 6 years.

I have been an assistant for three years for grades 1-3, I have experience in taking over maternity leaves for second and fourth grade and have substituted for 6th grade. I have taught summer school for incoming first graders for two years. I am in my 4th year of teaching second grade in NYC. I have experience in teaching and tutoring children from kindergarden to fifth grade. My masters degree is in childhood education from grades kindergarden to sixth grade.

About the lesson

I would like to have a session to meet the family and get to know each other, find out the likes, dislikes, what the student is struggling in and what they excel in to help me help the student better.

I have worked with students with disabilities and with general education students. I have worked with students who require differentiated learning and with students who are gifted and talented.

We can do this together, just try your best!!!
