Cristen coached our third grade team to plan As our school’s instructional coach, Cristen planned weekly with our third grade team. She led by example; insisted on research -based strategies, used data to guide instruction and came up with anchor charts that encompassed the information of the standards in kid-friendly language. She made herself available to help find solutions, model lessons and even began teaching small groups of students who were struggling despite intensive intervention.
