About Ines
I am an educator looking for tutoring opportunities to fill my summer. I have experience with pre-school (3 years) to 8th grade, general and special education. I strongly believe that teaching is not about what to learn but how to learn, and strive for student independence and skills that last a lifetime- rather than passing a test and forgetting the rest.
I am pro-neurodiversity and specialize in maximizing the strengths of atypical learners. My favorite part of a school year is watching a child have their "get it" moment and realize they CAN do it. Let's chat about your tutoring needs and see if we're a good fit!

Building rapport and setting expectations are an important part of new tutor- student relationship. We'll talk about student needs and what works best for your child before the first session.
