About Rebecca
I have been writing short stories, poems, and essays for 10 years. I am constantly editing various written works ranging from theses to resumes to marketing copy to song lyrics. I am a musician and the exclusive lyricist for my work providing me with wide-ranging experience and a particular passion for creative writing and poetry. I also have extensive background in more professional, academic pieces that positions me as a multi-faceted writing tutor to meet any of your needs!
I used to be a bad writer. I did not understand how to form a complete essay, flesh out thoughts, properly punctuate sentences. All because I didn't have the tools or teachers to help me navigate such art. All of this changed once I found the right resources. It is a pleasure to help others in their pathway to honing their writing skills and gaining appreciatation or comprehension of the process, such assistance a necessary component to my own journey as a writer.
Writing is one of the most universal skills -- valuable for nearly all professions and aspects of life. It can also become an incredible tool for self expression and a healthy addition to anyone's life -- both being the reasons I love what I do.

I have a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration (BSBA) from Washington University in St. Louis. I majored in Accounting and minored in Jewish, Islamic, and Near Eastern Studies.

I start off any new tutoring jobs with a phone call to get a feel for what is in need. After that, we will work together to find a mutual time that works for our schedules and take it from there!
