About Edward
Hey there!
I've taught R courses for public policy people, and used R, Python, Stata, plus a few other languages for public policy work. This stuff is fun, once you get the hang of it. Happy to chat about policy work if that's of interest; I've worked at a bunch of different places.
I enjoy learning all the nitty-gritty details in statistics. So if you've got questions like "why does correlation work?", happy to talk about those as well.
I've got almost a decade of experience with R and Stata, and have used R, Stata, Python, and SQL in real public policy work. I have a master's in computer science and public policy.
I started teaching short courses on R for public policy people.
I have a master's degree in public policy and computer science, and have done CS/policy work professionally for six years.
