As a teacher myself, I know what good tutoring looks like and Firdaous is an amazing one. I've watched her explain complex political, historical and economic concepts with a clarity and enthusiasm that's genuinely rare. She has an amazing academic depth, but more importantly she knows how to put that knowledge in a way that engages students rather than overwhelming them.

What sets her apart is her ability to develop critical thinking in the people she works with. She teaches students how to analyse, question and form their own arguments. She's naturally curious, exceptionally well-read, and brings a level of intellectual rigour to her teaching that I don't often see outside of professional academic settings. I met Firdaous during our time at university. As someone with autism, ADHD, and dyslexia, I've always found learning quite difficult, but she has an ability to explain things in ways that actually work for how my brain processes information.
