About Anezka

I started playing classical piano at age 4 from a private teacher in my home. As time went on my love for the instrument grew and I decided to take it more professionally. I finished CM when I was 12 and won my first competition at 13. I played at Saddleback, Irvine Valley College, Biola performing arts center and Segerstrom Concert Hall to name a few local events. At the end of my senior year of high school (July 2019) I performed in Carnegie Hall in New York City.

2019-2020 I lived in Europe and had the opportunity to play with school orchestras and tour through the Czech Republic and other parts of Europe.

Even though most of my time as a pianist I was sitting behind the piano performing, I did teach for about a year. Before I moved to Europe, I taught children between the ages of 4-13, and then once I was in Europe most of my focus was on performing, even though I would occasionally help classmates or even students from other years with technical questions.

In high school I took college classes at IVC for music theory and music history in addition to my private lessons and practice time after school. After graduating, I attended the Prague Conservatory of Music for a year and a half, starting in the Fall of 2019 and finishing the winter semester in 2021. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, starting in March 2020, most of my concerts that year were cancelled. I had the opportunity of live-streaming two concerts with an orchestra since the shut downs, but retired from my managers in October of 2020 due to the changes in that lifestyle that weren’t for me and decided to go back to teaching where I could share my talents and love for the instrument with others.
