About Sebastian

I'm an award-winning composer and pianist offering piano and music theory lessons. I work in studios, film and TV, and I teach at my home studio in NYC.

I have a degree at Berklee College of Music, where I've been awarded with the prestigious Herb Pomeroy Award for outstanding composition and arrangements, and I graduated with honors in 2007.

Since then, I've been recording albums and piano tracks and I've been touring with many artists around the globe. I'm also an active film composer, scoring national and international feature films.

I love to teach and pass my knowledge to the students and see how they build up their musicianship.

I can proudly say that many of my students became professional musicians and now they are pursuing a career in music.

Looking forward to hearing from you.

While in Berklee I started tutoring students that needed help with their classes and I found teaching so rewarding, both for me and my students.

It's a process where both teacher and student are constantly learning.

My rate is $80 per hour lesson, usually in a once per week basis. I believe that one lesson per week is the minimum required to be able to learn the instrument in a consistent and methodical way.

Obviously, two times or more per week would be ideal but is not the case of many students that have other compromises during the week or can't afford too many lessons. That's why in those cases I offer a discount if the students comes more than once a week.
