About María
María del Sol Piano Studio in New York, NY offers private, in‑home piano lessons for children ages 5 to 12 across Upper Manhattan and nearby neighborhoods, including Washington Heights, Hudson Heights, Inwood, Riverdale, Englewood, and the Bronx. Led by Emmy Award–winning composer–pianist María del Sol, the studio provides instruction in English and Spanish. María del Sol holds a Master of Music from New York University, studied piano performance with Kemal Gekic and Giselle Brodsky, and trained in the Taubman technique at the Golandsky Institute. Lessons focus on building strong technique, musicality, and consistent progress, from learning favorite pieces to preparing for recitals and Royal Conservatory achievements. Families highlight a supportive, creative environment that fosters confidence and steady growth at the piano. A complimentary introductory lesson is available for new students.
