About John

For beginning students (of all ages!) I teach the Simply Music method, which is a fantastic playing-based approach to learning the piano. You'll learn an amazing variety of music and we can adapt the lessons to your personal tastes.

I love seeing the lightbulb go on for students as they learn a skill or piece of music!

Piano lessons offered by John are tailored to each student's needs and level. Lessons can also be held online. Lessons are also available in Grandview. The first lesson is free to define learning goals and methodology.

Perfect! Being a 60 year-old, I was worried about not progressing as quickly as an average kid can. John is amazingly patient and encouraging. He is a really fine teacher. And his skills playing are fantastic!
