About Allison

As a professional pianist and music enthusiasts, I am so happy you are interested in learning how to create music. I know it can be overwhelming finding the right teacher to help you learn an instrument. Our teachers have taught students ranging from age of 3 all the way to age of 75. We’ve encountered so many different personalities and have adapted different teaching strategies to ensure high success in students’ growth. We create a light, fun, and energetic environment, and encourage students to be independent learners and problem-solve. Our role will not be the lecturer and talk to students every lesson, we mentor students in the learning process and have students experience piano playing first hand. No matter what your reason for learning might be, we are deeply committed in sharing our passion and knowledge with all of you.

We enjoy spreading the joy of music making to as many people as possible. If you are looking for lessons for your child, we love helping students discover different music and form a life-long interest in music and culture through piano playing. If you are an adult, we look forward to helping you achieve any aspirations/ goals you might have in your piano playing dream.

About the lesson

Piano lessons offered by Allison are tailored to each student's needs and level. Lessons can also be held online. Lessons are also available in Boulder. The first lesson is free to define learning goals and methodology.
