About Manuel

We were all students at one point and in some subjects we would excel and not so much in others; myself becoming a teacher whether is teaching photography, video editing or English as a second language I have come to find out, people excel at learing once the method is custom made for them, thats how I teach, I have created my own method and I can customize it to the goals of my students.

I enjoy photography because it is the only art form or medium I have founb that no one can object, deny or change; if it was captued by a camera it happened, it was there, you saw it, it was a fact, as with all other art forms it can be duplicated; not with photography, not when you can capture feelings that are expressed in a nano second never to be repeated again.

I started teaching English as a Second Language (ESL) and at the same institute I was teaching English; there were other courses such as video, photography, website creation and maintanance and graphic design and along all those courses ther qere offering the Adobe Suite and Final Cut Products training classes and i am an alumni of The Art Institute of Colorado in Digital Filmmaking Class of 2008 therefore I am certified by Adobe and Apple in all of their products realated to digital media.

I have worked with all types of students I have lived in 6 countries and traveled to 27 countries I have tought groups of 55 students to one on one classes.

My advise to anyone learning photogrphy is to look at the topics and subjects you want to photograph or enjoy seeing photographs of and try to learn about how they were shot and what camera and lens were used.
In my world (photo/video world) nothing happens by accident, when the photo opportunity comes two things can happen; the first one is that you can be ready; and by that I mean you learned about cameras, lenses and lighting conditions) this way you can never miss a shot.
The second one is to stage everything, from hair and make up to outoor lighting to achieve the look you want. Photography it is not random, someone has to have a camera turned on.

I direct and video my own TV show at my studio twice a month, I enjoy doing that everytiem it happens, specially because there is a new guest everytime.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Where can I see your work?
Have you taught anyone before?
Where did you learn photography?
How long have you made a living as a photographer?
Do you have your own studio?
How many different cameras can I learn with you? Canon? Nikon? Panasonic?
Do you have acces to studio lighting?
Do you have access to models or me?
Do you know photoshop or lightroom?
