He is always early to class and willing to answer questions before and after class. He also provides outstanding resource materials that help with many other issues related to photography, equipment, software, and photo editing. I have attended most of Brian's classes, and highly recommend them. If Brian is teaching, I know the class will be exceptional.

I have taken many, many photography classes over the last few years in Austin, on the internet and in other cities. Brian is the only instructor I have met who seems to enjoy teaching as much as he enjoys photography. His expertise is immediately obvious, but he is never boastful/showy. He takes pride in his students' accomplishments and celebrates their successes. His pride and happiness are obvious when his students evolve in their photography. I have found this to be a rare quality, as most instructors seem to feel challenged/competitive (even threatened) when their students do well.
