About Vijay

I am an experienced tutor. I have been tutoring and lecturing since 2015. I have a PhD degree in Banking and Finance from the University of Waikato. In addition to teaching experience, I have worked in the banking sector in two different countries for more than seven years. My practical experience helps me to apply theoretical concepts in the real world. I pride myself on creating a classroom environment that accommodates the needs of my students while still promoting a high level of critical thinking. Some of the most satisfying experiences come from helping struggling students to grasp difficult concepts through a combination of one-to-one conversations, class activities, group discussions, and case studies.

About the lesson

I bring academic concepts to life with visual and practical learning experiences, helping students to understand how the theoretical concepts are applied in the real world. Being an effective teacher is a challenge because every student is unique; however, by using a combination of teaching strategies, I address students’ varying learning styles and academic capabilities as well as make the classroom a dynamic and motivational environment for students.
