About Tiffany

I am a RN with experience working in fast paced hospital departments such as the Emergency Department, Pediatric Emergency Department, Neurosurgical ICU, and Neuro Psychiatry. I am a clinical nurse leader, have worked as charge nurse, and as a preceptor for nursing students and new graduate nurses. I am ACLS and PALS certified. I am a board certified psychiatric mental health nurse and also have a BFA with a background in art therapy. Nursing school is stressful and can feel very overwhelming. I am happy to help tutor and give real-life advice so you can graduate feeling prepared for this multi-faceted career. I am also open to tutoring and giving advice to new graduates either applying for positions or who may need advice/support in a new nursing position.

I have experience in a small class setting, teaching classes in my hospital on various units, as well as 1:1 training as preceptor for new graduate nurses and nursing students in a hospital setting

About the lesson

I first like to communicate with a new client to discuss their background, concerns, and goals. It is helpful for new clients to submit a copy of their current class syllabus so I can ensure we are covering all necessary content.

It is important to find a tutor who not only has experience, but can also relay real-life advice to help you prepare yourself for this intense field

Precepting new graduate nurses has been extremely rewarding. It is a wonderful experience to see a new graduate grow into an effective and competent nurse. One of the new graduates I precepted in the emergency department ended up training with FEMA and traveled up to New York City last winter to work in high-intensity covid crisis units.
