About Ian
Hello, my name is Ian McGreal. I'm a recent graduate from Miami University with a Major in Kinesiology, a co-major in pre-medical studies, and a Minor in Nutrition. Goals for my future include attending medical school and becoming a doctor. I've been tutoring for the past 2 years in mainly middle and high school education, focusing on Math and science, specifically Algebra 1 & 2, Environmental Science, Biology, Chemistry, and Physics. My background in these topics comes from many years of repetitive course-taking in high school, 4 years of undergrad, and also studying for the Medical College Admission Test, which includes all those topics and more! One thing I'm most passionate about when it comes to tutoring is seeing the growth and understanding in the tutee develop as sessions continue. Some of my special skills include understanding that each tutee is different when it comes to learning, so it's in my power to offer alternative learning techniques to ensure it fits with each individual.
