About Colin
I am a graduate student in Penn State's Electrical Engineering program, passionate about teaching math and physics! I believe that learning is more than just memorizing the answer, that instead the key lies in understanding core concepts and knowing when to apply them.

What is a Hokie? Well, I am! I graduated from Virginia Tech, whose mascot is the Hokie, in 2016 with a degree in Electrical Engineering. After that I worked for satellite engineering projects for the Navy. Now at Penn State, I research how antennas can be designed in new and exciting ways to develop the spacecraft of the future. In short, I love math and physics, and believe that everyone can too.
Virginia Tech's motto is Ut Prosim (That I May Serve). This is something I've taken to heart since graduating. I've helped interns at the Navy learn about electrical engineering, worked as a judge for a rocketry competition, and tutored my younger sister in calculus and physics.
