About Jules
I am a former elementary educator who is passionate about helping elementary and middle school students navigate the unfamiliar world of zoom school and build confidence in their learning again. I especially thrive with helping neurodivergent students. As a person with ADHD, I can relate to the struggles your kid might be going through as they navigate the challenges of online learning. I'd love to help your student demystify school and make learning fun again!

Before diving into academics, I like to get to know my students a bit first by finding out what they are interested in and build some rapport. Do they like to read? Play video games? Are they artistic, musical, or into sports? Whatever makes them happy, I want to hear about! Once we've gotten to know each other a bit, I ask to learn more about how school has been going for them. What subject areas make them feel confident? What feels the most difficult? Once we've determined what their strengths and areas for growth are, we can create a plan together to decide how I can best support them.
