About Kaitlin

Hi! My name is Kaitlin and I'm a high school math teacher in Union Square, Manhattan. I have a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics, a Master's Degree in Secondary Math Education and have been teaching/tutoring high school math for over 10 years. I am available to help with Algebra I, Geometry, Algebra II, Pre-Calculus and Calculus. Looking forward to hearing from you!

I started teaching because I was always the one helping others in my high school and college math classes!

I have a Bachelor's Degree in Mathematics and a Master's Degree in Secondary Math Education. Additionally, I have four years of tutoring and five years of teaching experience.

About the lesson

I like to have students share with me the information they already know about a topic so I can assess what type of learner a student is and fill in any gaps. Then, as we cover new material, I will have a sense of how a student learns and I can teach to the needs of the student.
