About Anusuya

I am very understanding with kids and am very patient while using different methods to explain different topics that students may need help with.

I love working with kids and helping them get past topics that I, myself, had trouble on previously and helping them love subjects that they may not at the moment. I haven't been doing this for long, I am a junior in high school but I have volunteered at tutoring centers, helping kids when they needed to learn something new and it sparked an interest in me to help students get better at topics that are difficult.

As a person who loves to help people in whatever way possible, I helped those that are in 9th and 10th grade with math topics that were confusing and helping them correct math exams that they got back, from there I decided to volunteer at a tutoring place and I was going to join as an intern but the pandemic hit before I could get to that next step.

I don't have much in all honestly, however, I have volunteered at a tutoring place before the pandemic and I have also tutored younger kids and those in middle school and underclassmen in high school through different topics.

About the lesson

I'm still new to this but my approach is going to be to understand the difficulties that students are facing at school and the reason it may be difficult for them, from there it would be learning how the individual student learns best and help them learn different topics that they may have difficulty with.

I have worked with students that are in preschool and in elementary school, students that have a hard time focusing sometimes and those that do their best but still have difficulty and I am proud to say that I am very patient with everyone I have helped.

Look for a tutor that will match your needs, find one that knows how to explain things the way you need things to be explained, and make sure that you're comfortable with asking them questions about absolutely anything.

There was this one student that I helped at the tutoring center I volunteered at, she didn't like school, like many students, and she loved drawing and being creative, I worked with her and helped her get through work as well as give her time to express herself throughout the time that I worked with her. The tutor that I was helping had a very big group so we would always split the group and help kids that are from ages 5-8 and they were angels.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Some questions would be like what do I need help with at the moment, how do I best learn, what is it that I need from the teacher, and what is the best way to help me learn these topics. Do you want easier examples given to you or do you want to be shown step by step a couple of times of certain problems?
