About Britney

I am currently an academically achieving student in highschool which makes me able to relate to other kids my age. Growing up with 5 younger siblings to take care of, I have experience helping them with homework and honing my skills for 16 years. I harken to the table traits that I have learned teaching my siblings and students at my school in with tutoring businesses that I started last year.

I want to help other children like myself by showing them not only the perspectives and methods of textbooks to approaching a problem but also another student’s, my own approach to the problem.

Lastly I excel in math and literature and languages like Spanish, English and Vietnamese.

Throughout my academic career, I have been the peer in my class who assists everyone with any thing they don’t understand. In addition, I have been tutoring and helping my younger siblings improve their grades for 16 years. Last year I started a tutoring business. In addition I am in math club at my school to help others with their academic struggles.

About the lesson

I first run a diagnostic test on them to see where they are at. Ask them what they think they need to improve on, then I use the diagnostic test to see for myself. After I simply ask them to teach me the topic or as much as they can. Here I can identify the gaps in their knowledge. Then from there I fill in their gaps and help them work through the their weaknesses shown in their diagnostic.

I have worked with students with low grades at the start. But not only did I help them understand the information, but I also motivated them to put in the effort. Because I believe you can be extremely smart but you’re grade won’t change if you don’t put effort to do the work.
