About Daley

Hello,

I am a recent college graduate who is looking to help out students who need extra assistance, especially as their learning environment has changed. I began tutoring as a highschooler, working in my schools math lab an hour a day helping other students with alegbra, calculus, and geometry. I have spent the last few years as a student athlete at the University of Southern California and coaching middle school and club volleyball. I am excellent at working with kids in middle and highschool and able to help a variety of skill levels (basic math and science all the way up to Advanced Calculus, Biology, Physics, and Social Sciences)

My mother and older sister are both teachers, I grew appreciating them as well as the importance of education and realizied I can help out those who need extra attention.

I am a recent student. I have excelled in school my entire life, recently honored as a student athlete scholar, and have recently taken advanced courses such as AP Calc BC and have prior experience in tutoring. I am a very logical thinker who is able to break things down and help with understanding complex topics. Additionally, my work as a youth volleyball coach is largely that of a teacher of skills and fundamentals.

About the lesson

Start by having them inquire with subject they need help in, find out any specifics they have, or if they have a particular schedule, so that I can see if I can help out!

I have worked with many different levels and ages of students. My first tutoring job was helping high school freshman with algebra 1.

Make sure you have a comfortable relationship with them, are not afraid to ask questions, or tell them to slow down and re explain something, you are paying for this service and we are here to HELP!
