Marshal is a great teacher. My son is getting home lessons and I am quite happy with his progress. Marshal understands my child and tries new techniques at his level. My son had a unique school project, in that he was challenged to learn a new skill in a few months and document that journey. He decided to pick a complicated piano song to learn, despite having no prior musical experience. Ultimately, Marshal was the perfect choice, as he patiently and professionally worked with my son through his many moods and incessant questions, even with doing lessons over Zoom. My son got an A+ on his project, and is continues to be interested in piano lessons even though his project is over. I don't think that's a very easy feat for a teacher to keep an active kid engaged to learn the piano. Our family enjoys working with Marshal and really appreciates his intelligence and openness. Marshal has been my piano instructor for the past couple of months, this review is long overdue. He is the best instructor I've ever had. After experiencing a long artist block during quarantine I decided to end it. A friend recommended Marshal and I plan on going to him for as long as I can. Marshal is flexible, patient, and creative. My son has been taking piano lessons for ~4 months and seems to enjoy playing. I like that Marshal allows him to choose pieces he is interested in, while also assigning pieces that will teach him the basics of technique. This seems to have allowed my son to progress much quicker, and because he's playing things he likes, I don't even have to remind him to practice. Marshal is patient and seems to make an effort to connect with the student.

My son has been having problems catching up with his schoolwork, especially with distant learning. I contacted Marshal for tutoring in English and Math for 4th grade and he has been more then accomadating to our schedule. He is extremely helpful! My son enjoys his lesson and is actually understanding what he is teaching. He communicates very well with my son and me by providing updates after each session. I am very grateful to have found Marshal!

😃In addition to being a talented pianist, Marshal is great working with kids and adults. When a music director was unable to lead a high school band in which my son performed, Marshal stepped in at the 11th hour and really delivered.
In addition, to working with the performers individually and as a group to polish up the music performance, Marshal found the time to give them tips on soloing. My son and I strongly recommend Marshal for individual or group private lessons.

Had my first lesson recently, and honestly nothing but good things to note. As someone that teaches more than just piano, he's first off, an excellent communicator and immediately gauged where to start based on my skills and not just a lesson plan that everyone/anyone can get. If you want someone to work with you from where your current skill sets are you shouldn't look elsewhere. Looking forward to learning under Marshal for as long as possible, and I genuinely implore whoever might be considering him to do the same! Truly a real educator.

I recently took a piano class from Marshal via Zoom. He e-mailed the course .pdf materials promptly after booking so that I could visually go over the lesson ahead of time. He had an easy going manner about himself and was okay with me interrupting on several occasions to ask a question or tell him I already knew the material being taught. Definitely recommended for children and adults!

Marshal helped me and my band run through a pre performance rehearsal, gave us 1 on 1 tips to helps us solo, and worked with us to perfect the different jazz tunes.
