About Clara
Hello!
I am a current high school senior at the Bronx High School of Science. I am passionate about helping students who need additional support in school by providing a personalized teaching environment.
I am currently enrolled in AP Calculus AB, AP Physics 2, AP Micro and Macroeconomicis, AP English Literature, and Financial and Actuarial Math at Bronx Science.
Previously, I took AP European History, AP French, AP Art History, AP English Language, AP US History, and AP Statistics. I passed the AP exams for all of these, earning 5s in French, English, and Statistics. I also scored a 1560 on the SAT in my junior year.
I have experience working with students younger than me due to working daily with my 9-year-old sister on her coursework, as well as my brother who is currently in his freshman year.
I have always enjoyed being a mentor and helping students grow. I've benefited immensely from the mentors and tutors I had over the yaers, helping me learn to love the subjects I previously disliked. I hope to have the same impact on students who need more support.
