About Ari
I'm a very patient tutor and I don't mind going over things if the student doesn't quite grasp it on the first time.
I love when students finally understand a subject they've been having difficulty with, and realize that they really can do it.
In high school, many friends of mine struggled with the material we learned in class, and I wanted to help. I would set up an empty classroom where we could work together, and their grades did go up!
I worked at the tutoring center at my college for 2 semesters and have done private tutoring as well during that time.

I tend to ask the student to send me the materials before the session, so that I can prepare them and make the session smoother and quicker for the student, trying to make the experience as pleasant as possible. I know that studying can be hard, but I teach the lessons conceptually so that the student can be intellectually stimulated by the session.
High school and college students.
Try people out, because you never know which approach works best for you.
I just tutored a woman for statistics and she went from getting 70s on her tests to a 94 on her final! That made me really happy.
