About Maddie
Growing up I have always had an interest and passion for mathematics. I'm a rising sophomore at the University of Virginia studying Biomedical Engineering and I have very successfully completed all levels of mathematics up to and including Multivariable Calculus. I have many years of informal tutoring experience, as all throughout middle and high school I peer tutored other students once or twice a week in varying levels of mathematics and Spanish. To me, there is almost nothing better than the feeling of tackling a tough concept by correctly solving a problem. That is, other than leading someone else to that same feeling. If you're looking for someone with plenty of experience and creative study habits that have helped me and others for years, please reach out! I would love to help you crush your goals!

I will do a quick evaluation to see where they're at. I will ask questions about the material they're studying, how they're studying, how they're performing, and where they would like to be (i.e. what can I help them with?). Using this information, I will create the most optimal plan for them moving forward to help them achieve their goals.
I have worked with students that range from middle school to high school age.
