About Diane
I believe the mind is a garden planted with seeds of knowledge that have the potential to grow into beautiful flowers. In order to bloom, these seeds need fostering & the right care. That is where I come in. As a senior in undergrad working towards a PhD, I am constantly looking for ways to grow my fields of knowledge. As a tutor for nearly 7 years, I also strive to help others grow their own gardens. My goal is to weed out doubts & insecurities and provide every student with the tools they need to master challenging material. I believe the focus should not be on if a child can learn but rather how to cultivate learning in a way that they will best understand. Every teaching method I use is personalized to fit each individual's learning style. As a result, my students excel and I get the joy of watching another garden bloom with new knowledge.
