About Joshua

I am a Junior majoring in Chemical Engineering at UT Austin. I have gotten an A in every Calculus class I’ve taken in college and also enjoyed Algebra 1 and 2 as well as Geometry and Precalculus in high school. I currently work at UT as a math and Chemistry tutor, so I have experience working with students and explaining confusing concepts.

About the lesson

I begin a session by asking background information about my students and their experiences with school and math specifically. It’s important for me to know my students' mentality towards learning so that I can understand how to best assist them. I don’t want to simply give away answers, I want my students to leave a session feeling more capable and interested in the subject than when they arrived.

I charge $15 for 30-minute sessions and $30 for an hour, but I am flexible. Zoom sessions cost the same as in-person sessions.
