About Jennifer

I will be attending MSU, Mankato in the fall. I am in the mathematics program to be a math teacher. I am looking for jobs that involve tutoring kids in any kind of math. I am not a professional so I may mess up at times, but I try to fix my mistakes. I am still learning.

I tutored at the Alexandria Technical and Community College while I was attending there. I love dealing with math. I'm stronger in algebra but relearning geometry/trigonometry. I may struggle with those at times. I love seeing the joy in kids faces when they finally understand it and start to get better grades.

I've been taking math classes at ATCC, Alexandria and I was a math tutor there working with other college students.

About the lesson

We would discuss where they are in math whether it be algebra, geometry, basic math, etc. Then I would ask what they do know and what they struggle with and we'd go work from there.
