About Max

Hi,

My name is Max. I study Applied Mathematics at LA Pierce College and would love to teach math to students of different ages: from Pre-algebra or SAT prep, to AP Calculus BC. During our sessions I will help students to set their own goals and achieve them.

Making a true difference in the attitude towards a particular subject of my students motivates me to strive for excellence in teaching techniques. I look forward to making my students love the subject that I teach and seeing how they ace their tests. That’s why I want to become a tutor, and why I’m pursuing a teaching career in future.

Two years ago my parents asked me to tutor my younger sister during the summer break in order for her to skip the entire fifth grade at school. After she successfully passed all of her exams and went to sixth grade, it was clear to me what vocation I am going to choose in life – teaching.

I am a LA Pierce College student majoring in Applied Mathmatics.

About the lesson

During our first session we will set the student's initial level. Based on this knoledge we will set an individual schedule and a way to achieve the student's goals.

I worked with students of different ages starting from elementary school to helping my peers studying for SAT/AP exams.

My sessions are cheap. My price also includes 24/7 students support. Have a question, concern, or emotional outburst? No need to wait for our next session! Just text me with your question and I will get back to you ASAP.

Last year I got a 5 on my AP Calculus BC exam and got an AP Scholar award. Right now I am studying Linear Algebra and would love to share my knowledge and experience with younger students.
