About Mark

Hi there!

I am a professional math teacher with 25 years of experience. I have bachelor & master degrees in mathematics and have taught everything from Arithmetic through A.P. Calculus BC (& from 6th grade into college).

I love teaching & pride myself on thoroughly understanding math & explaining it clearly as well as being very approachable & making it fun.

$60 / hour (not $70)

1). I use Zoom, etc. I believe very effectively to show me & my writing of steps in solving math problems with clear, complete, & responsive explanations to questions.

2). Reservation time slots start on the hour & are for the hour (& may include time for a few business matters).

About the lesson

Mathematics lessons offered by Mark are tailored to each student's needs and level. Lessons can also be held online. Lessons are also available in Long Beach. The first lesson is free to define learning goals and methodology.

He was able to explain the concepts thoroughly and in an easily understandable way, giving my senior the skills needed to successfully complete the class.
