About Joshua
When working with students, I tend to relate the material to their interests, and provide shortcuts to problem solving that are useful for future application. I also have a talent for teaching test-taking skills.
I believe I am a tutor of choice because I love learning and care deeply about putting the in-depth knowledge I have in the math/science areas to good use.
I started helping my sister and family friends before I moved to working professionally.
I have a dual bachelors in math and cell biology from the University of Michigan with a minor in physical chemistry.

I've primarily done live sessions for 1-2 hours, working on homework problems and practice tests. I believe in-person is optimal, but if needed, I am able to work through Skype, Zoom, Google Hangouts, and FaceTime.
