About Vida

As someone who has had previous experiences with teaching for all sorts of courses in higher difficulty courses, I fully dedicate myself to ensure that the student not only understands the specific problems that they are having troubles with, but I also make a strong footnote in going back to the foundations and basis of such problems in order to attain a better understanding of the major and minor concepts that the student does not grasp to the full extent.

The most satisfying part of the tutoring experience for me is to hear the student say "Ahhh that makes much more sense now". I believe that we are all capable of learning; furthermore different people require distinct ways of demonstration to increase the efficiency of learning. As a part of the tutoring experience, I want to make sure my students gain more confidence when tackling problems.

I taught college-level physics as an instructor out of the United States for a while. Once I had settled in the United States, I became a Math Tutor and Supplemental Instructor for college-preparatory math courses at Chaffey College. I was also involved in in-person private tutoring for the mentioned math classes.

I have attained a Bachelor's in physics degree from out of the United States.

I usually begin by doing a short introduction among us to break off any ice that the student might have. Then I simply ask the student in general to the topic what they know and what they are facing problems with so we can further narrow down the specifics of the misunderstanding that the student has faced.

I have mainly worked with and have the most experience with High School and College students.

Make sure to communicate with the teacher and also to see if their teaching style matches the ways that you learn most efficiently. Do not be hesitant to ask questions about anything.

Several of my students in the past have informed me solely based on our sessions, they not only performed well to their desire in the classes I have taught but they used my strategies in classes further on that were more difficult and have succeeded in those as well. I am proud that quite a noticeable number of my students were able to transfer to great 4-year universities as they had claimed the session I held proved to be a major factor in their education path further on beyond the levels of the classes.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out

It is always essential and has proved to be crucial for student learning before their sessions. They look back at the problems not only to understand what the problem is asking for but to also go back to the concept that is being tested. I highly recommend that the student tries to solve the problem one more time after carefully looking back at their notes so when the appointment begins no time is wasted on reading the problem or attempting to solve it.
