About Christy

My name is Christy and I have been tutoring Math since high school, nearly 15 years ago. From basic Elementary Math to upper college level Mathematics, such as Calculus and beyond, there is not a Math that I could not help a student understand. The best part about tutoring is seeing that “Ah-Ha” moment on a person’s face of when the the Math finally starts to make sense. There really isn’t anything quite like it.

I have a 4 year bachelor's degree in Mathematics from Clayton State University. I am a certified Tutor and have tutored at all levels. I specialize in Algebra and Calculus but have experience tutoring many types of Mathematics in Elementary, Middle and High School, and College level courses.

I am a proud Mother of 2 little ones Cassie and Brett (4 and 3) and being a Mom is the most challenging and fulfilling responsibility I will ever have.

If you have a child that needs reoccurring assistance, wants to get ahead in a subject, needs last minute test/exam prep, or simply a refresher in a particular subject, I would be honored to have the opportunity to help them find success.

If you need math help for a certification program or other math requirements I would be glad to assist you with those as well.

From one Mom to another, if you child is struggling in Math please get assistance. If not from me, from someone who can help them understand it. Unfortunately, the lack of reinforcement at a young age can snow ball through there academic career and before you know it is SAT/ACT test time. Then it is too late to relearn 12+ years of math material.

Math can be challenging, but it can also be infinity rewarding!
