I have years of proven experience in helping struggling students better understand mathematics!
I did it as volunteer work back in high school upon request from my teachers.
I have tutoring experience dating back to high school and throughout my college days, and I have a Bachelor's in engineering to prove I can do the work!

I introduce myself a bit; then I ask several questions about what their experience is like in class to get a better understanding of what we should work on and how I can best help them.
I've worked with both high school and college students of all different life backgrounds.
Even if you don't like math and don't plan on going into a field that uses it heavily, it's not about the math. Life will always throw challenges at you, and your ability to overcome challenges of any time prepares you for the future more than you'll realize in the moment.
I was recently contacted by the father of one of my first tutors to get tutoring help for another child! I was able to turn his son into a straight-A student.
