About Mahek
I'm an Economics major at UC Davis, so I've got a strong math background. I'll tailor my tutoring style to your learning style in order to maximize our tutoring time. By working with me, you're guaranteed to understand the concepts with a strong foundation from which you will be able to solve any problem.
I enjoy seeing students lighten up when a concept clicks into place. Learning should be a very forgiving process and one that is enjoyable even with challenging concepts. My goal, first and foremost, is to help the student see the joy in learning because a positive midset will cut the learning time in half and the amount of material learned will double.
I'm a first year undergraduate student in Economics and Political Science at UC Davis, which gives me a strong analytical and logical background in both math and writing. My past leadership experience as seen on my LinkedIn has given me the tools necessary to work with students of all ages

I'll spend the first class having the student solve problems and walking me through their solving methods to pinpoint the weak spots in their learning. Then, I'll mold my teaching style to the student's learning style — auditory, visual, hands-on, etc. — in order to maximize our tutoring time together for every class.
