About Haven
Teaching is where my passion for education and my compassion for others come together. I graduated from Biola University with a degree in Physical Science and a minor in Mathematics, because I love the way math helps us understand science and the world around us.
I believe learning should build more than academic skills - it should also build confidence, curiosity, perseverance, and character. Every student learns differently, and I love getting to know each student, discovering what helps them learn best, and encouraging them along the way.
My goal is to create a supportive environment where students feel comfortable asking questions, working through challenges, and discovering that they are capable of more than they may have realized. I’m passionate about helping students not only succeed in school, but grow into confident, lifelong learners.

Haven was truly the sweetest and most caring tutor. The way she explains things and her patience made me understand and feel so comfortable.
