About Robert
I am a Systems Engineer by trade and have mentored, tutored, and worked with students of all ages. I enjoy helping others learn and nothing brings me more joy than when the lightbulb goes off in their head.
I have an extensive career in entrepreneurship and engineering and an education in Astrophysics and Business. Through out my career, I had to take complex issues and topics and dial it up to a highly technical team of multiple engineering disciplines but also explaining it to the Business Development and Sales teams so that they can understand it as well. Everyone's skillsets and style of learning is different and I try to concentrate on not how I learn and know things but how they do.
The type of teaching I typically do is to use analogies, diagrams, and activities to see what type of learner each student is and hone in on their way of learning. I also have real-life examples of how I utilize some of these math topics and think that if you understand how it's used in the real-world, it will become easier to grasp.
