About Colin
Hi, my name is Colin, and I love working with students. Fun fact: I can move my middle finger tendon without moving my finger. The most rewarding part of tutoring for me is when a new concept “clicks” with a student - their excitement is contagious, and it’s a privilege to be able to help them reach that point!
I partner with students on a one-on-one basis in STEM subjects through SoFlo Tutors, my tutoring agency. I studied Applied and Computational Math at the University of Southern California and have been tutoring for 3 years. At SoFlo, we want to raise grades, strengthen understanding, and increase confidence. Math and Science tend to build on themselves, so our methodology is to identify gaps in a student’s knowledge of a subject and help to fill them in with individualized lessons!
