About Lindsey
Hello All!
I am a highly educated young adult looking to help those who need a little extra support with their schoolwork. From proofreading and providing guidance on written assignments, to assisting with the understanding of math problems I am highly motivated to help your student perform his or her best!
I have a Bachelor of Arts in Biology and a Master of Science in Industrial Hygiene, which allows me to work full time as a Safety Advisor for a major oil and gas company, focusing on their pipeline activities. I also have a MBA to further my pursuit of knowledge and seek development opportunities in my current career path.
Outside of my professional career, I have coached volleyball for over 5 years with ages and skill levels ranging from 10-11 year old co-ed recreational teams to womens Division 3 collegiate volleyball.

When working with a new student, I would like to hear from the student or parent what the preferred areas of focus are. After discussing the goals, I would like to see a recent example of the student's work to gauge where the student currently is in relation to the goals.
For a younger student, I appreciate hearing from the parent as well as asking the child themselves what they enjoy about the topic of interest and what they dislike about the topic of interest. This is to help me determine what type of help is best suitable for the student.
