I'm a former NYC high school teacher with over 25 years experience tutoring math, science, and writing.
I have master's in special education from Touro College. I taught high school in Brooklyn for 14 years, and have worked as a private tutor for 25 years.

I tailor my strategies to each specific situation, however I find with a majority of students, there is a need for deeper understanding of concepts as well as an urgent need to improve grades on upcoming assiignments and exams. Therefore I try to divide the time between teaching general skills, specific strategies for passing exams and homework help.
