About Christopher

As a recent college graduate from Worcester Polytechnic Institute, majoring in Aerospace Engineering, I have defintely had my fair share of time when I have needed to reach out for help. I graduated from Shawsheen Tech in Billerica, MA with a 3.98 GPA, and was able to graduate from WPI "With Distinction" for my academic accomplishments. It is through all of my years of education that I have seen just how crucial it is to not be afraid to ask for help when help is needed, and for that reason I want to offer my assistance to help students acheive their maximum potential. There is nothing more rewarding than being able to help someone understand a new problem or topic, and seeing the joy on their face when it clicks for them. School can be extremely stressful, especially with the current state of the world, so if I can help to make even one person's life a little bit easier then I am satisfied.

Growing up in a household where my mother has been a lifelong math teacher, I have always had a great respect for teachers and the importance behind their role in society. I truly believe that teachers help to shape the youth of the world, as they have definetely helped shape me into who I am today.

I graduated from Shawsheen Tech as a member of the Drafting shop where I was exposed to SolidWorks, Revit, AutoCAD. While at Shawsheen I succeededly academically, finishing with a 3.98 GPA. Following high school I attended WPI in Worcester, MA where I majored in Aerospace Engineering. While at WPI I was able to graduate "With Distinction", which is a token to my acadmic success.

The first thing I want to do is understand what mode of learning works best for the specific individual. From there I will work with them to address their needs in a fashion that best suits their strong points, as well trying to expose them to other tactics that I have found useful throughout my academic career.

I have worked with a lot of my peers throughout high school and college, helping them to understand different topics that we had been going over in class.

To remember there is no such thing as a stupid question. There have been countless times throughout my academic career where I have been afraid to ask a question of of fear of sounding "stupid", and what I have learned is there is never such a thing. Teachers are there to help everyone learn, and not everyone learns the same so don't be afraid to look for help whenever it is needed.

Graduating from WPI with a degree in Aerospace Engineering. I've always seen the title of a "rocket scientist" used in the common phrase "well it isn't rocket science", which led me to believe how impossible of a task it would be to achieve such a title. So, for me to be able to not only achieve that title, but to do it while succeeding academically was one of the prouder moments in my life thus far.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
I have found it very helpful to write out questions I want answered, so that when I go to the teacher I am able to ask them exactly what it is that is giving me issues.
