About Yashna

I am a graduate in BSc(Hons) mathematics with finance from the University of Mauritius.

At SC level, I obtained grade A+ in Additional Mathematics. At HSC level, I have got an A in Mathematics being my main subject.

I enjoy teaching mathematics. I love sharing as much knowledge as I can to my students. I love motivating them to do their best. Most importantly, I love giving them feedback on their progress.

I have excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Since childhood, I wanted to become a mathematics teacher. Moreover, while I was in college, my friends praised me that I explained really well and that I should definitely pursue a career in teaching.

I have completed my Bachelor's degree in Mathematics with Finance. And I'm currently pursuing MBA. I teach several students at home.

About the lesson

As any other teacher, I usually start with the simplest example, to know the student's ability, to really understand the student' IQ/knowledge, to get to know the student better. Once I have an idea, I can help him/her accordingly.

I have mostly worked with very weak students, but who show interest in learning.

Look for someone genuine, who is willing to really help you accomplish your goals, increase your knowledge and improve your grades, and also someone who is very fond of their own subject.

A few things worth thinking about before reaching out
Personally, I think they should know their own weakness, they should already be aware of the chapters/areas in which they are having difficulty and need improvement. And they should not hesitate to ask their teachers.
