About Paul
We specialize in integrative education with 20+ years teaching experience. This means that the student's individual experiences, knowledge, interests, and specialities are used to make mathematics relevent to their life (and not just necessary for good grades).
Each student is special about they way they learn and each session is tailored to meet their individual needs.

I gather as much information as possible about the course professor/teacher. This could include example problems, book ISBNs, worksheets, curriculum, and grading system.
Once the course is better qualified, information is gathered about the student's experiences, troubles, knowledge, and specialities. This helps to customize the tutoring sesisons to the individual needs of the student and improve efficiency.
Plenty of positive encouragement is given so that the student feels good about the session and enjoys learning.

PJ is truly a great teacher. He has a solid understanding of a variety of subjects and can expound on concepts to help the student gain a deeper comprehension when needed. That, along with his patience and encouraging attitude make him a great resource to those who enjoy learning or are just seeking assistance for a particularly difficult subject.
He really dug deep into the meaning behind what I was learning so that I would have a deep understanding of more than what I was just learning.
