About Anna

I am thrilled to introduce myself as an aspiring high school educator who is not only well-versed in English classic literature, with a Bachelor's degree in the subject, but also on the brink of completing my teaching certificate. Throughout my student teaching year, I have honed my abilities to deliver exceptional educational experiences that are marked by intelligence, friendliness, patience, flexibility, and unwavering determination.

My skills include: Skills Summary

• Training in anti-racist/anti-biased education, cultural awareness, and culturally responsive teaching.

• Familiar with asynchronous/synchronous course management, instructional technology, virtual learning environment, and leadership.

• Well instructed in public speaking, problem-solving, and strategic planning.

• Student-centered, observant, empathetic, expressive, confident, and dependable.

My approach revolves around cultivating critical thinking, fostering a love for literature, and nurturing each student's unique potential.

Working with me is a collaborative and engaging experience. I bring an intelligent perspective to discussions, encouraging students to think beyond the surface and explore the layers of meaning within the literature. My friendliness and approachability create an environment where questions are embraced and lively discourse is encouraged.

Patience is a cornerstone of my teaching philosophy. I recognize that learning takes time and individual progress varies. Through careful listening and tailored instruction, I ensure that every student has the opportunity to grasp complex concepts at their own pace. I understand that building understanding is a gradual process, and I am committed to walking alongside my students as they make meaningful strides.
